Our Privacy Commitment

eSchool is fully committed to maintaining and protecting the privacy of all its users — including schools, teachers, students, and parents. We only collect data that is strictly necessary to support digital academic operations and educational administration.

We do not sell, share, or monetize personal data in any form to third parties, including for advertising purposes. Even for the free version of the service, we have never—and will never—generate revenue from user personal data.

The purpose of this policy is to provide transparency to you regarding:

  • Types of data collected
  • How data is used and stored
  • Your rights over data control

We strive to use clear and easy-to-understand language because we believe privacy is a fundamental right of every individual, including in an educational environment.

Policy Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All eSchool digital services and products, including:
    • eSchool Mobile App (Android/iOS)
    • Admin Dashboard & eSchool Web Siakad
    • Official integrated third-party APIs & systems
  • All interactions through official forms, help services, and eSchool digital communication

However, it does not apply to third parties or services that have separate privacy policies (e.g., video conference service providers, external payment applications, etc.).

Privacy Policy Structure

Part I – Information Collected and Controlled by eSchool

We collect user data when:

  • The school performs account registration and activation
  • Users login and use the application
  • Filling out forms or contacting the eSchool help team

Data types include:

  • Name, email, student/teacher identification number, user role
  • Class information, subjects, schedule, and academic records
  • Technical data such as IP address, device type, and login activity

This data is used to:

  • Provide teaching-learning services and administrative management
  • Manage user authentication and system security
  • Provide relevant support and information according to roles

Part II – Information Processed on Behalf of the School

eSchool acts as an academic information system service provider. This means all data on teachers, students, and parents managed by the school admin will be processed under the instructions and responsibility of the school.

We do not use such data for our internal purposes outside of system operational interests, unless permission has been obtained from the school as the data owner.

Part III – General Provisions

  • We have a high security commitment as stated in the [eSchool Security Policy].
  • We will provide notifications through the app or email if there are changes to this policy.
  • Users have the right to request deletion or updates of personal data, through coordination with the school admin.
